LEEDCo Challenged & Exposed
The legal challenges by John Stock on behalf of the Bratenahl residents, and ABC and BSBO, will take a serious bite out of Great Lakes industrialization. As I noted previously:
The exaggerations and misrepresentations of this application to construct are many. These include: no biologically significant harm to wildlife; birds do not fly over the lake; and super-luminous lures of jobs and power supply. Of course, the proposal is layered in the meme that the climate (really weather) can be mitigated by this and other such projects given less reliance on coal or fossil fuels.

Please also note that this Thursday, the 17th, the OPSB will address Case 16 1871 EL BGN, LEEDCo/Icebreaker, again, possibly to renew its commitment to “feather” eight months of the year and other conditions, (or other). We obviously are hoping for and anticipating a HOLD in its first list of conditions.
Important to note as mentioned in this post, that greedy multinational wind developers are eyeing the LEEDCo decisions carefully, with respect to Governor Cuomo’s aspirations, we might add, unreasonable and frankly ridiculous, aspirations.

It is our belief that the green devotees, simply do not have the facts. Let’s give them facts, again and again, because we know that doubling down on fictions is the only way.
THE REALITY: BILLIONS OF FLYING CREATURES PASS OVER THE LAKE TWICE A YEAR.
The Great Lakes as is known, are a blend of richness of natural habitat, food, and restoration at the other side, as creatures make their way across, in the tens of millions, some say in the hundreds of millions, twice a year.
