Determined to Destroy Cheap Power Supplies – Renewables Zealots Out to Kill the Poor

Those smug know-it-alls that champion wind and solar power persistently claim the high moral ground, but religiously ignore the inevitable victims of their faux eco-zealotry: the poorest and most vulnerable in society, for whom paying for power has become an existential battle.

To the billions in the Third World, where electricity has for too long been an unobtainable dream, can be added millions in first world countries, like Germany and Australia, where power is fast becoming an unaffordable luxury.

Once upon a time, not so very long ago, governments took their responsibility to deliver secure, reliable and affordable electricity to their constituents in bitter earnest.

Today, governments of all persuasions have been infected by ‘green’-fascism, central to which is a maniacal obsession with sunshine and breezes, as the ‘fuel of the future’.

South Australia, once eagerly nominated as the renewable energy Superstar Downunder, is now renowned for routine load shedding and statewide blackouts, along with suffering the highest power prices in the universe.

At the moment, its hapless Labor government – and a baggage train of renewables rent-seekers – are claiming that, soon, all will be well in the garden: within six months or so retail power prices will plummet. It is, of course, delusional nonsense.

The consequence of entrenched institutional malice for South Australians will be more of the same:over the next few months thousands of families will join the more than 50,000 households who can no longer afford electricity, at all. And all of them will suffer the indignity of living like Stone Age troglodytes, while ALP members and their green-acolytes live like the Bourbon Kings and Queens.

For those prepared to find these people guilty of mere incompetence, it’s more likely that a bizarre form of ‘virtuous malice’ is at play. These people know full well what they are doing, and why.

In this well-crafted piece, Francis Mention names and shames the guilty, for what are clearly crimes against humanity.
