Did you hear about this?

Dear Andreas,

Did you hear about this?

Your government in Canberra has been quietly locking up our coastal waters for giant offshore wind farms.

There are six massive ocean reserves around the country that will be locked up for thousands of sky-scraper sized wind turbines.

You’ll be able to see them from the beach.

If you’re lucky enough to own a house with ocean views, you’ll see them from your front window.

But here’s the trick.

They’re not near our cities, where most of the electricity is used.

Nope, they’re in regional Australia.

Just like the Chinese-built monstrosities that are destroying farms and bushland across the country.

If you’re one of the inner-city elites or activists who are pushing this idea, they won’t trouble you much.

Like most of their climate nonsense, it’s a problem for other people.

The activists and elites don’t pay the price.

That’s what Aussie families and farmers are for.

You won’t be seeing one of these enormous wind turbines from Anthony Albanese or Adam Bandt’s inner-city pads, that’s for sure.

What really gets me angry is the sheer size of these reserves.

They plan to lock up more than 37,000 square kilometres of ocean for this lunacy.

That’s bigger than the areas of greater Sydney and Brisbane combined.

From Gippsland in Victoria, to the Hunter and Illawara in NSW.

One of the biggest is in WA, where Albo plans to lock up a vast area of ocean from Mandurah to Cape Naturaliste.

Who asked for this? You and I didn’t. This is not what Aussies voted for.

We have enough coal and gas to power this nation into the next century.

We have enough uranium to fire up nuclear power generators into the next millennium.

All proven and reliable technology.

We don’t need unreliable foreign renewables.

But this isn’t the only hit on working Aussies Labor and the Greens have delivered this week.

Last week, they rammed their ute tax through parliament.

That means the Aussie automotive industry – and Aussies! – will be paying more for utes from July 1 next year.

It’s just a carbon tax by another name.

No one voted for that either.

But do they care?

Nope. The activists and elites will do whatever they can get away with.

And that’s exactly why you and I are fighting back.

Yours sincerely,

Matthew Sheahan
