The nephew of former Victorian premier Ted Baillieu has accused national wind farm commissioner Andrew Dyer of blackmail as part of an increasingly hostile “hurricane of corporate war” over control of listed company BidEnergy.
The toxic stoush started in February when James Baillieu was replaced by Mr Dyer as chairman of BidEnergy, an ASX-listed energy management company.
The company’s share price has tumbled in recent months as the feud between the two men became increasingly personal, with claims Mr Baillieu pinned a letter on a notice board at the exclusive Melbourne Club that said: “YOU’RE A MAGGOT DYER”.
In an email on April 11, Mr Baillieu referred to Mr Dyer as a “grubby dishonest toad of a man – slithering around in your trail of slime”, according to court documents.
Note: Fulton Hogan is a subscription customer of Bid Energy. Bulgana Wind Farm is also a Key project of Fulton Hogan.
One has to question if there is not a conflict of interest with the National Wind Farm Commissioner holding the position of Chairman of Bid Energy and being National Wind Farm Commissioner???????? Is Mr Dyer the right person for the position of NWFC?
