Sunset and calm weather and the reasons why wind and solar power have never worked; and never will. Cost-effective storage is a pipe dream. Talk about mega-lithium batteries is just so much propaganda, designed to avoid the inevitable conclusion that the world has squandered hundreds of billions of dollars on renewable energy, with nothing to show for it except rocketing power prices and wrecked communities.

That money would have been far better spent on building nuclear power generation capacity and developing the Small Modular Reactors that are both safe and flexible.

Instead, as Wallace Manheimer points out below, governments have ignored ever-reliable nuclear and thrown all at never-reliable wind and solar.
