Australia’s Power Crisis Generated by a Conspiracy of Incompetents

To destroy the cheapest and most reliable power supplies in the world in less than 20 years takes effort, but it can be done. Take South Australia, Australia’s so-called wind power capital as the prime example. Some might attribute Australia’s energy crisis to a behind-closed-doors conspiracy, but it has been said that before jumping to that conclusion the inquisitive accuser should “never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.”
While reliable, secure and affordable electricity might be in short supply in Australia this Summer, there is a noticeable surplus of idiots pretending to know something about the generation and distribution of electricity.
And the power dunce club isn’t limited to Jay Weatherill and his bully boy sidekick, Tom Koutsantonis.
The Australian Capital Territory is well served with idiots, too.
