Information is attached about the SA research funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council to investigate sleep impacts of traffic noise and wind farm noise.
Apologies if you have received this from more than one source.
Dear Resident,
I am sending your household the attached advertisement and information about a university-based research study which will be assessing the effects of windfarm and traffic noise effects on sleep. The study is funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council.…/nhmrc-awards-funding-wind-farms-…
The study examines the relationships between noise and sleep disturbances in the natural home environment. They are recruiting residents who do and do not report sleep disturbances due to wind turbine noise and request your help with their study. Please see the enclosed flyer for more information.
In addition, they are working to establish a Community Liaison Group, made up of community members who live near windfarms. The CLG will include two community members representing each one of several communities located near a windfarm. The purpose of this group will be to contribute to the planning and implementation phases of the project. For more information, please see the enclosed Call for Expression of Interest Sheet or contact the researchers.

If you are willing to participate, and/or would like to be part of the Community Liaison Group, please contact the researchers on the details provided below.
